Langtang is situated at the foot of the Himalayan ranges is a beautiful Himalayan valley filled with nature's bounty. An alternative trekking route is close to Kathmandu Valley, Langtang trekking begins within 7-8 hour drive to Syabrubensi from Kathmandu. 

This trek exposes you to a remote and glorious valley of Langtang. The major part of the settlement in this region is occupied by Tamang people and they are known for hospitality. Apart from experiencing the culture and tradition of the Tamangs, you also get to enjoy one of the finest views of the Himalayas from this region- Tserko RI (5033m), Kyanjin RI, Ganchhenpo (6388m), Dorje Lakpa (6990m), Laurebinayak pass (4,609m). A splendid sight of mountains like Langtang Lirung (7,200m), Ganesh Himal (7,600m) and Langtang-II (7,227m) are also visible from this valley. Confining the Langtang National Park within its premises, Langtang Trekking gives you an opportunity to explore a wide range of Wildlife inhabitant- Red Pandas Musk Deer, Himalayan Black Bear, Himalayan Thar, Rhesus Monkey and Langur. It is an ideal place for bird watchers and florists, especially during the spring season. This valley is dominated by rhododendron and bamboo forests, pine forest, swift mountain streams, rugged rock, snow-capped peaks, grassy downs and meadows of Daisies which makes the journey even more sensational.

Langtang Gosainkunda trekking combines the remote and spectacular valley of Langtang, with the high mountain lake known as Holy Gosainkunda Lake. The Gosain K unda holds a great deal of religious significance to the Hindus and the Buddhist.The Langtang valley, Helambu villages which lie over the holy Gosainkunda Lake, Laure Binayak pass, and the terraced hillside makes Langtang Gosainkunda trekking one of the most idealistic destinations for trekking in Nepal.

Right after the monsoon, this trek gives a fabulous view of the great peak of Langtang Lirung (7246m), which dominates the upper valley and straddles the Tibetan border.

Day 01:
Meet your guide, porter and Driver in Betrawati and drive to by Jeep to Shyabrubeshi about 6 hours. Lunch and explore the Shyabrubeshi town, mostly Tibetan influential lifestyle of Tamang people and it is commercial center for surrounding villagers. Dinner and overnight in hotel in Shyabrubeshi. 

Day 02:  
Trek from Shyabrubeshi to Bamboo(2500m/8200ft) Duration: 4-5 hrs. 
Today, the first part of the trail crosses through the Bhote Koshi River and follows the Langtang Khola. This trail is gradually climbs to Bamboo, passing through the Landslide area. Afterwards, your trek ascends gently to Ramche (2400meters) through Bamboo (1960meters) which lies at the bank of the Langtang Khola. You can have lunch at this place if you like. And, at the end of your trail are the levels to the Lama Hotel. Along the route if you are lucky you may able to see Red Pandas, monkeys and bears. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 04: 
Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3307m/10845ft) Duration: 5 hrs
The trek route follows Gumanechok, ‘Ghoda Tabela’ which literally means ‘the Horse Stable’. After this, the trail turns slightly gradual and beautiful in the valley, with the grazing Yaks on the pastures. Langtang village is one of the very local and old villages along this trekking route and the view from here are more spectacular. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 05:
Langtang village to Kyanjing Ri (4773m/15655ft) and back to Kyanjing Gompa (3798m/12495ft) Duration: 7-8 hrs
The trail climbs gradually to Sindum and to Yamphu (3640m). Crossing the Laja Khola, it climbs a moraine to a viewpoint where you can see the Kyanjin Gompa and the dramatic icefall flowing from Langtang Lirung. After Kyanjin Gompa, you would be hiking to Kyanjin RI (4773m) and trekking back to the Kyanjin Gompa. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 06:
Kyangjuma Gompa Exploration and climb Chorkari Ri (5050m/16564ft) Duration: 7 hrs Today is a day to rest and explore the area. You can visit the monastery and the cheese factory, walk up the moraine to see the spectacular ice faces and ascend at Chorkari RI (5050 meters), which is highest point of this trek, directly behind the village, for a breath-taking panorama of the Langtang peak. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 07:
Kyanjin Gompa- Lama Hotel (2500m/8200ft) Duration: 5-6 hrs
Today, we will come back all the way downhill to the Lama Hotel. We will see fantastic views of towering mountains what you will have missed on the way up. Taking more time, you are suggested to walk very slowly to take in all of the natural beauties. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 08:
Trek to Upper (Thulo) Syabru village 2,118m - 06 hrs.
From Lama Hotel our journey leads to alternative route towards Upper Syabru also called as Thulo Syabru, morning walk a short downhill to Riverside and Bamboo area with small lodge, teahouses in the middles of rhododendron, oaks and bamboo forests, after short rest here walk continues leading  uphill to the ridge of Upper Syabru passing few farm lands and a big landslide section and then to Thulo Syabru village where the traditional Tamang houses are linked together like a long locomotive with beautiful carved windows and doors, this village with 6-8 good lodges and a monastery above the village.

Day 09: 
Trek to Singh Gomba / Chandanbari 3,254 m - 05 hrs.
After this nice village walk leads to more climb through enchanting dense forest of lovely rhododendron, oaks and pine trees with views of Langtang and Ganesh Himal and as far towards west peaks of Manaslu and Annapurna Himalaya, although a steep climb but interesting walking into this beautiful forest where more than 10 varieties of rhododendron species exists around this thick woodlands, passing summer pasture  and shades of cattle herders and then on the pleasant winding trail to Singh Gomba / Chandanbari village with cheese factory and an old monastery at the top of the village.

Day 10: 
Trek to Gosainkunda 4,381 m / 14,375ft - 05 hrs.
Today, walk leads to our next destinations and one of the highlight of this great journey, morning walk leading to an uphill through beautiful alpine coniferous forest with views of Annapurna, Manaslu Mountains towards North West and of Langtang Himal range ahead north, walk passes few settlement with small lodges and huts at Laurabinaya where tree line stops with only few bushes of juniper and dwarf rhododendrons. Walk continues with a climb reaching the top notch of west Laurabinaya pass at 3,932 meters via Cholang Pati and Laurabinayak from here heading with short descend and then to holy Gosainkund area at first reaching Saraswati and Bhiarav kund  and short climb to the main huge pond at Gosainkund for overnight stop, a fascinating place with ambiance environment surrounded by high Rocky Mountains, afternoon a short walk around the lake and to hill top for impressive views of mountains of Langtang and Ganesh Himal. This place regarded holy for hundreds of years where thousands of Hindu pilgrims, as well Buddhist and Shaman (Witch Doctors) visits here on festival held around “Jani Purnima” in the month of August as per the Hindu / Buddhist Lunar calendar

Day 11"
Today after breakfast trek back to Sing Gompa, 4-5 hours walking. 

Day 12:
After breakfast trek back to Dhunche, and overnight in Dhunche. 

Day 13:
A scenic drive back to Kathmandu by public bus/jeep will be undergone, which takes about 6 hrs. Once you arrived in Kathmandu, everything on your own.
